Among the key capabilities of the GX240 model include displaying typical X-ray and tomographic images. With a panel size of 21.3 inches, this black and white monitor with a 2 megapixel resolution displays images at the highest quality. EIZO relies on LED technology for achieving a constantly high brightness and guarantees a brightness of 500 cd/m2 over a period of 5 years without limiting operating time. Peak values of brightness can reach an operation level of up to 1 200 cd/m2. The range of gray scale colors for the GX240 model includes 8 or 10 bits from the 14bit pallet. The DICOM brightness characteristic is factory configured and can be updated with automatic calibration. This is why displaying radiological images on the GX240 is so precise.
